CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MINUTES oral,
February 2, 1984
The Wylie City Council met in a called session on Thursday, February 2,
1984 at 5:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers at City Hall . Mayor Squires
presided. A quorum was present and notice of the meeting had been posted
for the time and in the manner required by law. Those in attendance were
Mayor Robert B. Squires, Mayor Pro Tem John Akin, Councilmen Don Hughes,
Percy Simmons and Cleo Adams, City Manager Gus Pappas, City Secretary
Carolyn Jones. Councilman William Martin was absent.
Mayor Squires called the meeting to order and said the purpose of the
meeting was to call an order for City Officer's Election.
Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Akin to call Order for City Election
for April 7, 1984. Seconded by Councilman Adams. All in favor.
Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Akin to adjourn. Seconded by Councilman
Hughes. All in favor.
