The City Concil of the town of wylie Texas met in regular session in the Town Hall with
all members being present Except R. L. Gallagher.
Motion & Second To except Ballets on city election as read. Motion Carried.. Ray L.
Pitts For Mayor. 85 Votes.
Jess Calloway— City Clerk 156 Votes.
J. W. Rees For Alderman 106 Votes
A Brown. For Alderman 104 Votes
J. A. Hammett For City Marshall 99 Votes.
Motion & Second To Accept plan of brining before Concil plans and specifations of
money spent for the City and have Monthly Budgets or Allowances approved by City
Concil.
Motion Carried 3. to 1
Motion & Second to Allow J. R. Jones $25.00 or as much there of nessesary for repairs
on city pump station and city water mains until next regular nite. Motion Carried.
Motion & Second All bills be allowed paid as read, Except Housewright—Hammet
& Co's Bill, And pay this Bill if H-H. &. Co will allow city 25% of Bill to apply on Back
Taxes. Motion Carried.
Motion & Sec Bonds of J.A. Hammett City Marshall and Ray L. Pitts Mayor in the sum
of$1000.00 One Thousand of each Be accepted.
Motion Carried.
Mayor Ray L. Pitts appointed Jess Calloway City Fire Marshall for a period of one year.
Ray L. Pitts for materials and phone calls on swimming pool. see Bill 10.34
