07-15-1936 (City Council) Minutes July 15th 1936 =Regular Meeting. The City concil of the City of wylie "Tex" met in Regular sission in the city Hall with all Members being present. Motion & Second to Accept city election Ballet of July 7th for the purpose of electing one Alderman to take Homer Burchs place who resigned. Fred Gallagher 33 Votes—Fay More 35 Votes. Motion Carried. Motion & Second to extend city sewer Main to Loyd Russells property in east part of town now Accupied by J. W. Russell. Motion Carried. Motion & Second to appoint R. L. Gallagher to sell and dispose of all second hand lumber, tools and any other Materials pertaining to the swing pool. Motion Carried. Fay Moore, the newly elected alderman was appointed as Mayor protein by Mayor Ray L. Pitts. Motion & Second All bills be allowed paid except the Gammon Meter Bill. Motion Carried..
