06-15-1937 (City Council) Minutes June 15th 1937
The City Concil of the Town of Wylie Tex met for regular session with all members
present Except A. Brown and J.W. Rees.
The was a Motion & Second before the house that the Minutes of last regular meeting
also the Call Meeting on May 25th be approved as read. Motion Carried.
Motion & Second to appoint Ed Davis fire marshall if he will accept. Motion
Carried.
Motion & Second to appoint Glen David water& Sewer revenue collector.
Motion & Carried.
Motion & Second to Extend lease on Swing pool to Mrs Williams &Hicks till
next regular meeting nite. Motion Carried.
Motion & Second to accept J.W. Reese's resignation as Concilman and Mayor
protein.
Motion Carried.
Motion & Second to appoint Glen Daniel as City Treasurer. Motion Carried. He
shall make a Bond of$200000 (Two thousand) to the city to be approved by the city
concil.
Motion & Second J.R. Jones have permission to Buy or Book for future delivery 5
new water meters and 8 meter Boxes.
Motion Carreid.
Motion & Second all bills be allowed paid as read. Motion Carried.
Motion & Second A. Brown find out where the best grade of gravel can be
obtained and make purchase of 4 loads or 8 yards. Also to do the Bridge and Culvert
work that needs to be done over town

And to find out where the city can purchase some (thirty) gallon Barrells.

Motion & Second Mayor Pitts regisnation be carried over till next regular meeting
nit to be acted on. Motion Carried.
