07-28-1937 (City Council) Minutes July 28th 1937
The city Concil of the Town of Wylie Tex met in Special Call session with all members
present.
The purpose of the meeting was to in stall the newly elected Mayor and
Concilman.
Motion & Second the election be accepted as read. Motion Carried.
Mayor Protem Fay Moore declared J W. Akin elected Mayor and Jick
Housewright elected as alderman.
Motion & Second S. G. Allison J. W. Housewright and Frank Smith be appointed
to serve on the Equlization board. Motion Carried.
Motion & Second prices at the swing pool be reduced until next regular meeting
nite. Children under 12 years of age with bathing suit be admitted for 05 cents if city
furnishes suit the charge will be 10 cents. Adults with suits the charge will be 10 cents if
city furnishes suit the charge will be 15 cents.
