05-15-1939 (City Council) Minutes May 15= 1939
The city concil of the city of Wylie"Tex" met in regular session with all members
present.
The minutes of last meeting was read and approved
There was a Motion & Second the city of Wylie donate $2500 to the cemetery
association Motion Carried.
The Mayor appointed J. A. Pitts—W. D. Click and E. Housewright as a committee to see
about renting a larger building for the sewing-room.
There was a Motion & Second. The city rent a Box at the post-office for the
benefit of the city concil officer Motion Carried
The Mayor, appointed J A. Benton-D. W. Click to employ a C.P.A. Auditor to
audit the city Books.
There was a Motion & Second the city pay W. C. Collins $35000 on gravel accout
Motion Carried.
There was a Motion & Second all bills be allowed paid as read Motion Carried
There was a Motion & Second to adjourn
