12-15-1939 (City Council) Minutes December 15 — 1939
The City concil of the city of Wylie "Tex" met in regular session in the city hall with all
members present.
The minutes of last meeting was read and approved by a Motion& Second then
Motion Carried.
There was a Motion & Second. that H. A. Long Buy paint and paint the
machinery inside the pump station. Motion Carried.
There was a Motion & Second the city have some more gravel hauled to fill up
some holes and low places in the streets
Motion Carried.
Motion & Second, city Clerk fill out blanks in regard to gas rate reduction and
mail to Cominty Natural Gas co. Motion Carried.

Notice to Community Natural Gas Co.
December 15= 1939
Community Natural Gas co "Greeting's"
You are hereby commanded to be and appear before the Mayor and city concil of
the city of Wylie Texas on the 15 day of January 19.40 and then and there to present all
necessary and relevant facts, Information and evidence pertaining to the fixing of a fair
and reasonable rate to be charged within the corporate limits of said city for natural gas
and natural gas service
You are advised that this notice is made pursuant to authority vested in the said
city of Wylie to fix rates to be charged for natural gas and natural gas service, and that it
is the intention of the governing body of said city of Wylie, after providing this notice
and a free hearing on the date above set forth, to fix and promulgate fair and reasonable
rates and charges for natural gas and natural gas services within the said city.
This action is pursued not withstanding any former resolutions, Orders or
Ordinances passed or ordained by the governing body of this city. to be contrary,
