09-16-1940 (City Council) Minutes Sept. 16- 1940 The city concil of the city of Wylie"Texas" met in regular session with all members present except D. Hillis and D. W. Click. The minutes of last regular meeting was read and approved In compliance with a letter from Gov. Lt. Lee 0 Daniel, there was a Motion and Second, there be a home defence group, organized here in Wylie and community, and send a copy of same to the Governor of Texas There was a Motion & Second, the city extend the ware house at pump station to take care of the fire truck, and floor the space in the city hall where the fire truck was so the Hall can be more conveniently use for public gatherings and meetings of other kinds. Motion Carried. Motion & Second all bills be allowed paid as read.
