10-15-1940 (City Council) Minutes Oct- 15 - 1940 The city concil of the city of Wylie"Texas" met in regular session in the city hall with all members present Except D. W. Click. The minutes of last regular meeting was read and approved. There was a Motion & Second the Mayor appoint a committee to have the city hall canvassed papered and painted inside Motion Carried. J. A. Pitts was appointed as a committee of one to employ a man, and to supervise the canvassing-papering and the painting of the city hall inside There was a Motion & Second the city pay for the dinner of the men who Volunteered their service helping with the Drafh regisatation in the city hall Oct. 16- 1940 Motion Carried. There was a Motion & Second all the bills be allowed paid as read including the Texas Power-Light co bill which was not in at the time of reading Motion Carried There was a Motion & Second to adjourn.
