11-15-1940 (City Council) Minutes November 15—1940
The city concil of the city of Wylie"Tex" met in regular session in the city hall with all
members present except Mayor E. Housewright and concilman J. A. Benton
Mayor Prom J. A. Pitts was In the chair in the absence of Mayor Housewright
The Minutes of last regular meeting was read and approved by a Motion and
Second and the Motion Carried.
There was a Motion & Second the city accept G. A. Kruse's proposition on the
monthly payment of delinquent city taxes on the Manda Martin property in South part of
Wylie In the event G. A. Kruse buys this property, the monthly payment will be $3.00
Three& no/100 Dollars per month. Motion Carried.There was a Motion & Second the
concil invite all the foot ball Boys and the new Coach and wife to the Cemetary dinner at
the city hall Nov-16-40 as guests of the city concil Motion Carried.
Motion & Second the city give to the Cemetary Association the quilt scraps that
was on hand at the close of the sewing room if the Ladies of the association want them
Motion Carried.
There was a Motion & Second all bills be allowed paid as read Motion Carried.
Motion & Second to adjourn. Motion Carried.
