02-17-1941 (City Council) Minutes February 17- 1941 The city concil of the city of Wylie"Texas" met in regular session in the city Hall, with all members present Except D. W. Click and J. A. Benton. The minutes of last meeting was read and approved by a Motion& Second. The Motion Carried Regular Motion& Second city pass up Extention of water main to Geo. H. Harper property for the time being Motion Carried Motion & Second, Secretary write Texas Telephone co. Sherman Tex about condition of walk in front of building here in Wylie Motion Carried. Mayor Housewright ordered an election to be held in the first Tuesday in April, the same being the first day of April for the purpose of Electing three Aldermen John. W. Housewright was appointed to head said election and to select the clerks and Judges necessary for holding said Election There was a Motion & Second the city drop its membership in the League of Municipalities at Austin Tex.
