05-15-1941 (City Council) Minutes May 15th 1941 The city concil of the city of Wylie Texas met in regular session in the city hall with all members present. The minutes of last meeting was read and approved After discussing what to do with the city swimming pool this season, a Motion& Second was made and J. A. Pitts and D. Hillis was put on a committee to lease the pool or handle it any way to the best interest of the city Motion Carried There was a Motion & Second that H. A. Long not be allowed to dig ditches and connect up pipes or do plumming work on private property Motion Carried. There was a regular Motion & Second the Mayor and city Treasurer buy a One Thousand Dollar ($1,00000) Government Bond with the money on deposit in the Bank to Guarantee Interest payments on out standing water-Sewer Bonds There was a Motion & Second all Bills be allowed paid as read Motion Carried There was a Motion & Second to adjourn Motion Carried Gallagher Ins Agency on water tank&tower 10.50 H.
