05-28-1942 (City Council) Minutes May 28th 1942
The City Council met in a called session in the City Hall on May 28, 1942 with all
members present except Ray Hall.
The purpose of the meeting was to appoint a secretary to finish out the unexpired
term of C.M. Gallagher deceased
Mayor J. A. Pitts appointed Miss Rita Gallagher as Secretary of the City of Wylie.
Motion that appointment be approved made by E Housewright and seconded by Claude
Housewright The motion carried.
Miss Rita Gallagher took oath of office administered by Chas. Hillis.
There was a motion made & seconded to adjourn, Motion Carried.
