10-15-1942 (City Council) Minutes October 15th 1942
The City Council of the City of Wylie met on October 15th 1942 with all members
present except R.J. Hall and E Housewright. Mayor Pitts presiding called the meeting to
order.
Minutes of the last meeting were read by the clerk and on a motion by C
Housewright and a second by D.B. Willis were approved as read.
There being no old business before the Council the Mayor recognized H.A. Long
who asked that his salary be raised, due to the higher cost of living. Motion made by C
Housewright that Mr Long's salary be raised to 100.00 per month effective Oct. 15, 1942.
Motion seconded by R R Addington carried.
Treasurer reported in the Int& Sinking fund $70835 General fund $47943s
The following bills were read and on a motion by Claude Housewright and
second by R R Addington were ordered paid.

Motion made by Claude Housewright and second by R R Addington to adjourn carried.
