02-15-1932 (City Council) Minutes Feb 15/32.
Council met on above date with all members present. After invocation by Mayor the
minutes of previous meeting was read and approved. J.C. Jennings was qualified as
Alderman to serve the unexpired term of R.L. Gallagher resigned.
Marshall Hammett made report on amount of taxes collected also amount uncollected.
The council discussed the question of fines due the city for misdemeanors. An election
was ordered to be held on April 5th to elect a Mayor, Marshall, Secretary& 2 Aldermen.
Mr. John Houston was appointed to hold said election.
Several letters were read and filed. The following bills were allowed:
