DAVIDSON SURVEY, ABSTRACT 266: This property is located on

Councilman Martin opened the public hearing, there being no
questions or opposition, the public hearing was closed.
~PPROVE AND SIGN ZONING ORDINANCE FOR .79 ACRES OUT OF THE
E. C. DAVIDSON SURVEY, ABSTRACT 266: This property is
located on West FM 3412 and is the property belonging to
Winston and Margie Watkins. There being no questions from
the council, a motion was made by Councilman Gaston to
approve and sign zoning ordinance zoning .79 acres out of
the E. C. Davidsion Survey as agricultural. Seconded by
Councilman Fulgham. The vote was as follows: Councilman
Simmons - in favor, Councilman Martin - in favor, Councilman
Fulgham - in favor, and Councilman Gaston - in favor. This
motion carried with all in favor.

APPROVE AND SIGN ANNEXATION ORDINANCE FOR 1.51 ACRES OUT OF
JRE E. C. DAVIDSON SURVEY, ABSTRACT 266: This property is
located on West FM 3412 and is the property belonging to J.
T. and Loretta Wright. All the public hearing requirements
have been met as well as the 20 day waiting period. Motion
was made by Councilman Fulgham to approve and sign
annexation ordinance for 1.51 acres out of the E. C.
Davidson Survey. Seconded by Councilman Simmons. The vote
was as follows: Councilman Simmons - in favor, Councilman
Martin - in favor, Councilman Fulgham - in favor, and
Councilman Gaston - in favor. This motion carried with all
in favor.

DAVIDSON SURVEY, ABSTRACT 266: This property is located on
West FM 3412 and is the property belonging to J. T. and
Loretta Wright. The request for zoning for this 1.51 acres
is agricultural. Councilman Martin opened the public
hearing, there being no questions or opposition, the public
hearing was closed.

Wright. There being no questions from Council, a motion was
made by Councilman Gaston to approve and sign zoning
ordinance for 1.51 Acres out of the E. C. Davidson Survey,
Abstract 266 for agricultural zoning. Seconded by
Councilman Fulgham. The vote was as follows: Councilman
Simmons - in favor, Councilman Martin - in favor, Councilman
Fulgham - in favor, and Councilman Gaston - in favor.

property is located on E. SH78 and is known as "Steaks Over
Texas". The required public hearings have been held and the
20 day waiting period has been satisfied. Motion was made
by Councilman Gaston to approve and sign annexation
ordinance for one acre out of the Francisco De La Pina
Survey. Seconded by Councilman Simmons. The vote was as
follows: Councilman Simmons - in favor, Councilman Martin -
in favor, Councilman Julgham - in favor, Councilman Gaston -
in favor. This motion carried with all in favor.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ZONING FOR ONE ACRE OUT OF THE
FRANCISCO DE LA PINA SURVEY, ABSTRACT 688: This property is
located on E. SH 78 and is known as "Steaks Over Texas".
The request for zoning is for Business one (D-l).
Councilman Martin opened the public hearing, there being no
~uestions or oppositon, the public hearing was closed.
APPROVE AND SIGN ZONING ORDINANCE FOR ONE ACRE OUT OF THE
FRANCISCO DE LA PINA SURVEY, ABSTRACT 688: This property is
known as "Steaks Over Texas" and is located on E. SH78.
There being no ~uestions from Council, a motion was made by
Councilman Gaston to approve and sign zoning ordinance for
one acre out of the Francisco de la Pina Survey with the
zoning of Business One. Seconded by Councilman Fulgham.
The vote was as follows: Councilman Simmons - in favor,
Councilman Martin - in favor, Councilman Fulgham - in favor,
and Councilman Gaston - in favor. This motion carried with
all in favor.

located on E. SH78 and is known as Wylie Junction. The
public hearing requirements have been met and the 20 day
waiting period satisfied. Motion was made by Councilman
Simmons to approve and sign annexation ordinance for 2 acres
out of the Francisco de la Pina Survey. Seconded by
Councilman Gaston. The vote was as follows: Councilman
Simmons - in favor, Councilman Martin - in favor, Councilman
Fulgham - in favor, and Councilman Gaston - in favor. This
motion carried with all in favor.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ZONING OF 2 ACRES OUT OF THE FRANCISCO
DE LA PINA SURVEY, ABSTRACT 688: This property is located
on E. SH78 and is known as Wylie Junction. The request for
zoning is for Industrial. City Manager Gus Pappas said the
request from the property owner for zoning was for
Industrial, but the city staff recommended riusiness~. The
Planning and Zoning Commission recommends this for approval
to Council with a Business 1 zoning. The difference between
HI and B2 is the outside sale and storage is prohibited in
Dusiness 1. Councilman Ilartin opened the public heariI1G,

Councilman Gaston wanted to know if the boat storage which
is already existing would remain. City Manager Gus Pappas
said that any business or building existing at time of
annexation or zoning would be grandfathered. Motion was
made by Councilman Gaston to approve and sign zoning
ordinance for 2 acres out of the Francisco de la Pina Survey
with a business One (0-1) zoning. Seconded by Councilman
Fulgham. The vote was as follows: Councilman Simmons - in
favor, Councilman Martin - in favor, Councilman Fulgham - in
favor, and Councilman Gaston - in favor. This motion
carried with all in favor.

APPROVAL OF ANNEXATION ORDINANCE FOR 892.1 ACRES OUT OF THE
W. H. MOORE SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 638: This property is
being referred to as Lake Annexation No.3 and is all
federal land. The public hearing requirements have been met
and the 20 day waiting period has been satisfied. Motion
was made by Councilman Gaston to approve and sign annexation
ordinance for 892.1 acres out of the W. H. Moore Survey,
Abstract No. 638. Seconded by Councilman Simmons. The vote
was as follows: Councilman Simmons - in favor, Councilman
Martin - in favor, Councilman Fulgham - in favor, and
Councilman Gaston - in favor. This motion carried with all
in favor.
APPR~YAL OF ANNEXATION ORDINANCE FOR 238.96 ACRES OUT OF THE
M. WALKER SURVEY, ABSTRACT 1022: This property is being
referred to as Lake Annexation No.4 and is all federal
land. The public hearing requirements have been met and the
20 day waiting period. Motion was made by Councilman Gaston
to approve and sign annexation ordinance for 238.~6 acres
out of the M. Walker Survey, Abstract 1022. Seconded by
Councilman Simmons. The vote was as follows: Councilman
Simmons - in favor, Councilman Martin - in favor, Councilman
Ful~ham - in favor, and Councilman Gaston - in favor. This
motion carried with all in favor.

APPROVAL OF ANNEXATION ORDINANCE FOR 730.88 ACRES OUT OF THE
11. I. GIMENEZ SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 338: This property is
being referred to as Lake Annexation No.5 and is all
tederal land. The public hearing requirements have been met
and the 20 day waiting period. Motion was made by
Councilman Gaston to approve and sign annexation ordinance
for 730.88 acres out of the M. I. Gimenez Survey. Seconded
by Councilman Fulgham. The vote was as follows: Councilman
Simmons - in favor, Councilman Martin - in favor, Councilman
l'ulgnam - in favor, and Councilman Gaston - in favor. This
motion carried with all in favor.

J. TURNHAM SURVEY, ABSTRACT 919: This property is being
referred to as Lake Annexation No.6 and is all federal
land. The public hearing re~uirements have been met and the
20 day waiting period. Motion was made by Councilman Gaston
to approve and sign annexation ordinance for 5U5.~2 acres
out of the J. Turnram Survey. Seconded by Councilman

THE THOS. CHAMBERS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 1049: This property is
being referred to as Lake Annexation No.7 and is all
~ederal land. The public hearing re~uirements have been met
and the 20 day waiting period. A motion was made by
Councilman Gaston to approve and sign annexation ordinance
for 1055.7601 acres out of the Thos. Chambers Survey.
Seconded by Councilman Simmons. The vote was as follows:
Councilman Simmons - in favor, Councilman Hartin - in favor,
Councilman Fulghman - in favor, and Counciluan Gaston - in
favor. This motion carried with all in favor.
PUBLIC HEARING AND APPROVAL OF ZONING ORDINANCE FOR 30 ACRES
OUT OF THE G. W. GUNNELL SURVEY ABSTRACT 351: City Manager
Gus Pappas presented to the Council a letter which he
received this afternoon. This letter was from the Kreymer
Companies and was requesting the zoning of this property be
tabled due to their representative not being able to attend
because of family illness. Councilman Simmons wanted to
know if this zoning needed to go back to Planning and
Zoning. City Manager Gus Pappas said only if Council so

Councilman Simmons to table the public hearing and approval
of :;;oning ordinance. Seconded by Councilman Fulgham. The
vote was as follows: Councilman Simmons - in favor,
Councilman uartin - in favor, Councilnan Fulgham - in favor,
and Councilman Gaston - in favor. This motion carried with
all in favor to table.
APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 83-1~, MOBILE
HOME PARK ORDINANCE TO DELETE TRASH CAN RACK PROVISION:
This item is placed before you, after having been tabled at

This Mobile Home Park Ordinance has a provision, Section
I.UU.C which provides for collection stands for all refuse
containers. Mr. St. John feels these racks are unsightly
and should be removed from the ordinance. liotion was made
by Councilman Fulgham to approve ordinance amending
Urdinance No. 83-18 to delete the trash can rack provision.
After waiting some time for a second, Councilman Martin

stated that due to a lack of a second to this motion, the
motion dies and the ordinance stays as written.
There being no other business, Councilman Martin called for
a notion to adjourn. ilotion was made by Councilman Gaston
to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Simmons.
