CALLED CITY COUNCIL
MEETING — MINUTES
NOVEMBER 23 , 1985
10:00 A. M.
The Wylie City Council met in a called session on Saturday ,
November 23 , 1985 at 10 : 00 A . M. in the Community Center of
Wylie . A quorum was present and notice of the meeting had
been posted for the time and in the manner required by law .
Mayor Akin presided . Those present were Mayor John Akin ,
Mayor Pro Tem Huhges , Councilmembers Percy Simmons , Harold
Spence , William Martin , Joe Fulgham and Randall Gaston, City
Manager Gus Pappas , City Secretary Carolyn Jones , Finance
Director James Johnson , Public Works Director Bill Windham,
Bro . Al Draper and Rev . Rives . Councilman Martin was not
present .
Mayor Akin called the meeting to order and thanks the
pastors for coming to count the questionniares that have
been returned .
Mayor Akin called for a recess during which time the pastors
will count the returns .
Mayor Akin reconvened the meeting and read the results of -----
the questionnaires as follows :

In favor 2 . 5 M . 249
Against 33
Undecided 6
TOTAL VOTES 346
Mayor Akin thanked Bro . Draper and Rev . Rives for coming and
giving their time this morning .
Motin was made to adjourn , with all in favor .
