MINUTES
CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MONDAY, MARCH 23, 1987
The Wylie City Council met in called session on Monday,
March 23 , 1987 , in the Community Room at 800 Thomas Street .
A quorum was present and notice of the meeting had been
posted for the time and in the manner prescribed by law.
Those present were Mayor Chuck Trimble, Mayor Pro Tem Joe
Fulgham, Councilmembers Cal Westerhof , William Martin, Kent
Crane, and Sandra Donovan. Present from the staff were Gus
Pappas, City Manager; Larry Jackson, City Attorney; James
Johnson, Director of Finance and Barbara LeCocq, Secretary.
The meeting was called to order at 7:07 PM by Mayor Trimble.
The Invocation was given by Councilman Kent Crane.
ITEM NO. 1 - RECESS OPEN MEETING - Mayor Trimble recessed
the open meeting to move into Executive Session under the
authority of Article 6252-17, Section 2, V.A.C.S. paragraph
"e" , consultation between the governmental body and its
attorney for the purpose of discussing termination of the
existing landfill contract with Moore-BFI , award of
franchise constract for sanitation service, and rate
increase for sanitation service.
ITEM NO. 2 - RECONVENE OPEN MEETING - Open meeting
reconvened as required by State statute.
ITEM NO. 3 - ADJOURNMENT - Mayor Trimble stated he would now
entertain a motion for adjournment. Motion to adjourn made
by Councilman Westerhof . Second by Councilman Martin.
