CALLED CITY COUNCIL
MEETING - MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 19 , 1987
2: 30 P. M.
The Wylie City Council met in a called session on Saturday,
September 19 , 1987 at 2: 30 P.M. in the Community Room. A
quorum was present and notice of the meeting had been posted
in the time and manner required by law. Those present were
Council Members Kent Crane, Chris DiTota, John Akin and
Marvin Blakey, City Manager John Pitstick, City Secretary
Carolyn Jones, Finance Director James Johnson. Those
absent , Mayor Chuck Trimble, Mayor Pro Tem Sandra Donovan ,
and Councilman Cal Westerhof .
Councilman Akin called the meeting to order and convened
Council into executive session at 2 : 44 P .M. under the
authority of Article 6252-17 of V.A.C.S . , Section2 ,
paragraph "f" negotiations concerning real property.
Councilman Akin reconvened Council into open session at 3: 27
P .M. Councilman Akin called for a motion on the
negotiations with East Fork Water Supply. Motion was made
by Councilman Crane to direct staff to negotiate with
attorneys for East Fork Water Supply to purchase Wyndham,
East Ridge and Stone Grove 2 . Seconded by Councilman
DiTota . The vote was as follows : Councilman Akin - in
favor, Councilman DiTota - in favor, Councilman Crane - in
favor , and Councilman Blakey - in favor . This motion
carried with all in favor .
There being no other business , a motion was made to adjourn
with all in favor.
