SPECIAL SESSION
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor John Akin called the meeting to order with the following Councilmembers
present: Jim Swartz, John Mondy, and Ortie Messenger. Reta Allen, Steve Wright, and
Ortie Messenger were absent.
CANVASS OF JANUARY 15, 1994 1/2 CENT SALES TAX ELECTION
Council reviewed the returns and tally sheets for the January 15, 1994 special
election and accepted the returns as follows:

WORKSESSION WITH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
Council adjourned into a worksession with the Development Corporation to
discuss economic development goals. Members present were John Tobin, John Yeager,
Marvin Fuller, Raymond Cooper and Charlie Womack.
ADJOURNMENT
As there was no further business to come before Council for consideration, the
meeting adjourned.
