SPECIAL MEETING TO CANVASS
February 21, 1995
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro-Tem Ortie Messenger called the meeting to order with the following
Councilmembers present: Bobby Jennings, Steve Wright, and Cleo Adams. Mayor Jim
Swartz, John Mondy, and Reta Allen were absent.
CANVASS OF FEBRUARY 18TH BOND ELECTION
Council canvassed the returns and Messenger announced that 752 total ballots
had been cast for the measures as follows:
METHODIST CHURCH/EARLY VOTED BALLOTS
PROPOSITION 1 435 Favor 244 Opposed
PROPOSITION 2 472 Favor 200 Opposed
SOUTHFORK MOBILE HOME PARK
PROPOSITION 1 68 Favor 4 Opposed
PROPOSITION 2 59 Favor 12 Opposed
TOTAL BALLOTS CAST
PROPOSITION 1 503 Favor 248 Opposed
PROPOSITION 2 531 Favor 212 Opposed
RESOLUTION 95-15 CANVASSING RETURNS OF BOND ELECTION HELD ON
FEBRUARY 18, 1995
Wright made a motion to approve the resolution. Adams seconded the motion.
The motion was voted on and passed unanimously.
