WORKSESSION
STAKEHOLDER MEETING-Community Park Improvements Project Discussion
Members of the City Staff and representatives from Teague, Nall and Perkins Architects met with City
Council Members, Parks and Recreation Board Members,various sports leagues representatives and all
interested parties to discuss and gather input on the Community Park improvements Project.
The Parks and Recreation Board did not reach a quorum during this meeting. Park Board Members present were:
Anne Hiney, Donna Larson and Dan Chesnut.
Chris Seely with Teague, Nall and Perkins Architects led the presentation and discussion. Mr. Seely presented a
conceptual design based on items listed during the January 14th, Stakeholder Meeting. The focus of the meeting
was clarifying and prioritizing the current needs of Community Park. Participants commented on athletic field
improvements, neighborhood access, additional parking, concession stands and restrooms, hike and bike trail,
athletic field lighting and bleachers. No action of the Wylie City Council or Parks and Recreation Board took place
during this session.
