01-06-1923 (City Council) Minutes Special Meeting of City Council held January 6, 1923 with Mayor, all
aldermen, attorney& secretary present.
The question of location of well was taken up. It was regularly moved by J. R. Bowman
& seconded by C. J. Marrs, that we purchase the W. T. McDonald Blacksmith property
from G. M. McDonald at $800.00 Motion carried unanimously.
Was moved & seconded that we make deal with First State Bank to handle the daily
balances and pay the City 3.76% interest and if the bank did not want it at that, to look
farther. Motion carried. No further business.
