02-01-1922 (City Council) Minutes Reg meeting of Town Council 2/1/22
Council met with C. J. Marrs & C. L. Hillis absent.
Mr. Howery reported 825.00 taxes collected to date. Account in favor of Wylie Herald
for 2.50 for printing was allowed.
The City Marshal was instructed to ask Mr. Discher to move the scales from the street
and also to ask Mr. Wilcox to move his telephone poles, said removal to be done at once.
Was moved and sec that Dr. Butler's account for gravel be allowed, motion carried. Mr.
Howery was authorized to make the settlement.
Moved and seconded that all officers salaries be allowed. Motion carried.
Moved and seconded that the Marshal be instructed to notify Mr. J. W. McCallough to
put some decent clothes on his boy Perry and to look after him better for the boys own
good.
No further business, council adjourned.
