01-16-1931 (City Council) Minutes Jan 16 /31
Council met on above date with all present except C. L. Hillis & I. V. Boren. After
invocation by W. F. Duncan, the minutes of last meeting was read & approved.
Some communications were read & filed. The question of Dry Toilets were discussed
and the Marshall was instructed to talk to the sanitary man about them.
Mr. Green's complaint about a cut off valve was discussed & Pumper was instructed to
inform Mr. Green to buy himself a Stop & Waste as city only put on cut off valve for the
department's own use.
The question of using the City Hall for a fire station was taken up & on motion& second
was voted to allow same to be used for that purpose.
An ordinance was proposed & on motion & sec passed appointing W. F. Duncan as City
Attorney.
An Auditing Committee was appointed as follows: R. L. Gallagher, C. L. Hillis, & Albt
Davis.
The question of loaning the Street Grader was left up to the Street Committee.
Was moved & sec that the city register J. R. Jones car& furnish him 10 gal. of gas per
month for use of car. Motion carried.

Mr. Duncan was instructed to take the steps necessary to collect the delinquent taxes.
