STREET EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
1 . Dump Truck - 12 yard , gasoline, tandem axle, 5 -
speed transmission, positive locking rear-end .
2. Mixer - reycling traveling mixer and stabilizer
with hydraulic driven rotor , turns positively to
the machines forward travel , replaceable rotor
teeth, additive system (automatic liquid
portioning) with flow-metering and suction devices
for mixture of stablizing agents during the mixing
process, diesel powered, variable depth
adjustments , ROPS canopy.
3. Roller - single drum steel vibratory, articulated ,
rubber tired rear axle , ROPS canopy, rolling width
- minimum 66 inches, diesel , hydrostatic drive ,
with sprinkler system; vibratory system
specifications: eighteen hundred - twenty-seven
hundred (1800-2700) vpm, centrifugal force 5.9-
6. 3t ; working lights and head lights.
4. Crack Sealer - minimum 400 gallon capacity; self-
contained heating system with temperature control
mixer and re-circulating pump and tank system;
trailer type with tandem axle; appropriate
lighting and trailer braking system; must apply
either road asphalt or asphalt-rubber products ;
butane heated; maximum heat unput - 800,000 BTU;
automatic temperature control.
5. Street sweeper - regenerative air sweeper ; both
truck and auxiliary engine are to be gasoline
fueled; 6 cubic yard capacity ; twin gutter brooms;
dual steering; dust control system - high
pressure, low volume water spray system shall be
supplied to suppress dust ; dumping of hopper shall
be by means of mounted hydraulicly activated dump
gates and raker bar; audible warning device to
sound when unit is in reverse gear .
6. Spreader box - truck mounted manually controlled
materials spreader .
7 . Oil distribution truck - gasoline powered; 1000
gallon capacity ; butane heating system; adjustable
temperature, distribution pattern and flow; will
accept both new and used bids on this item only;
used equipment bids should provide details of the
condition of the equipment and the ability to
inspect the equipment prior to final award.
