CALL TO ORDER
Announce the presence of a Quorum.
Building Official, Mike McAnnally called the meeting to order with the following Construction
Code Board Members present: Bryan Rogers, Brian Parten, David Williams, Ronald Hauck, Billy
McClendon, Sunil Verma, and Brian Huddleston.
Staff present was: Building Official, Mike McAnnally; Code Enforcement Officer, Pat Mitchell;
and Construction Code Board Secretary, Leisa Price.
CITIZENS COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
Residents may address Construction Code Board regarding an item that is not listed on the Agenda. Residents must
provide their name and address. Construction Code Board requests that comments be limited to three (3) minutes.
In addition, Construction Code Board is not allowed to converse, deliberate or takes action on any matter presented
during citizen participation.
There were no citizens present to address the Construction Code Board during Citizens'
Comments.
APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN / VICE-CHAIRMAN
• Consider, and act upon, appointment of the Chairman / Vice Chairman for a one
year term beginning July 2011 and ending July 2012.
Board Action
A nomination was made by Bryan Rogers to nominate Ronald Hauck as the Chairman. Board
Member Brian Parten seconded the motion. A vote was taken and a motion passed 7-0.
A nomination was made by Brian Huddleston to nominate Bryan Rogers as Vice Chairman.
Board Member Brian Parten seconded the motion. A vote was taken and a motion passed 7-0.

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Consider, and act upon, approving the Minutes from the July 15, 2010 Construction
Code Board meeting.
Staff Discussion
Due to change in staff the minutes from the July, 15, 2010 Construction Code Board meeting
could not be located. Staff requests that the minutes be made available at a later time for the
Chairman of the Construction Code Board to sign when available.
Board Action
A nomination was made by Bryan Rogers to approve the signing of the minutes by the
Chairman of the Construction Code Board when the minutes are made available. Board
member Ronald Hauck seconded the motion. A vote was taken and a motion passed 7-0.
2. Hold a public hearing, to provide evidence, seeking a determination that a building(s)
located at or near 217 Tanglewood Dr., Rush Creek Estates #2, Blk B, Lot 28, Wylie, Collin
County, Texas was in violation of standards set out in Ordinance 2008-49 DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS and or PUBLIC NUISANCES Ordinance 92-14 of the City of Wylie, Texas;
and, seeking an order of approval of the Emergency Secures.
Staff Discussion
Pat Mitchell, Code Enforcement Officer presented slides and discussed the reasons for the
multiple securing's of the property.
Board Action
Billy McClendon made a motion to approve the action taken by the City of Wylie Construction
Code Board staff at the property located at 217 Tanglewood Dr., Rush Creek Estates #3, Blk B,
Lot 28, Wylie, Collin County, Texas. Sunil Verma seconded the motion. A vote was taken and
passed 7-0.
3. Hold a public hearing, to provide evidence, seeking a determination that a building(s)
located at or near 507 Kylie Ln., Pointe North #2, Blk #F, Lot 13, Wylie, Collin County,
Texas was in violation of standards set out in Ordinance 2008-49 DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS and or PUBLIC NUISANCES Ordinance 92-14 of the City of Wylie, Texas;
and, seeking an order of approval of the Emergency Secure conducted on May 31,2011.
Staff Discussion
Mike McAnnally, Building Official for the City of Wylie made mention of the fact that the property
was owned by Mr. Vetter who currently resides out of town and asked that the Construction
Code Board postpone reviewing this case until Mr. Vetter can return and be present for the
hearing.
Board Action
Bill McClendon made a motion to approve the postponement of the hearing on the property
located at 507 Kylie Ln., Pointe North #2, Blk #F, Lot 13, Wylie, Collin County, Texas. Bryan
Rogers seconded the motion.
4. Hold a public hearing, to provide evidence, seeking a determination that a building(s)
located at or near 212 W. Marble St., Brown & Burns, Blk 6,Lot 35A,Wylie, Collin County,

Texas was in violation of standards set out in Ordinance 2008-49 DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS and or PUBLIC NUISANCES Ordinance 92-14 of the City of Wylie, Texas;
and seeking an order of approval of the Emergency Secure conducted on May 20, 2011.
Staff Discussion
Pat Mitchell, Code Enforcement Officer presented slides and discussed the reasons for the
securing of the property. It was also noted that the owner of the property, Mr. Chuck Trimbell,
currently resides in Colorado.
Board Action
Ronald Hauk made a motion to approve the action taken by the City of Wylie Construction Code
Board staff at the property located at 212 W. Marble St., Brown & Burns, Blk 6, Lot 35A Wylie,
Collin County, Texas. Bryan Rogers seconded the motion. A vote was taken and passed 7-0.
5. Authorizing the Chairman of the Construction Code Board to sign the final orders
prepared by City staff so long as such final orders are consistent with the orders issued by
the Construction Code Board on July 28, 2011.
Board Action
Billy McClendon made a motion to accept and approve the orders. Sunil Verma seconded the
motion. A vote was taken and passed 7-0.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business before the Construction Code Board, a motion was made by Bryan
Rogers, seconded by Brian Parten to adjourn the meeting.. A vote was taken and the motion
passed 7-0.
