Wylie Council Ethics Sub-Committee Meeting

CALL TO ORDER
Announce the presence of a Quorum.
Members of the Code of Ethics Sub-Committee met February 9, 2012 in the Wylie Council
Conference Room. Members present included Mayor Eric Hogue, Councilwoman Diane
Culver and Councilman David Goss.
Staff present were, City Manager, Mindy Manson and City Secretary, Carole Ehrlich. Some
citizens also attended.
WORK SESSION
• Discussion regarding a Code of Ethics.
(Sub-committee members)
Members of the sub-committee above worked with staff reviewing several policies from other
cities to determine possible policies for a Code of Ethics for Wylie. Based on the discussion
during the work session, a draft of individual policies will be prepared by staff and presented to
the full Wylie City Council during a work session scheduled for February 27, 2012, by action of
the City Council on February 14, 2012. The council work session will be for further discussion
and/or final drafting for city attorney review and council consideration during a future meeting.
The meeting was concluded at 7:15 p.m.
