Resolution No. 1977-78 (6-1) RESOLUTION 1977 - 78 PLANNING $ ZONING 6-1 RESOLUTION OF CITY PLANNING F ZONING COMMISSION IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST ON Final PLAT OF Westwind Meadows Addition WHEREAS, The City Planning $ Zoning Commission of the City of Wylie held a public meeting to review the Final Plat of Westwind Meadows Addition ; and, WHEREAS, The City Planning & Zoning Commission have reviewed the Zoning District Map, Zoning Ordinance, E Subdivision Regulations , and find the plat to be in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan with the following exceptions : 1. Concrete alley in Residential District shall be 10 foot width (Section 9-14-6 (B) 6) Ord. #71-11. 2. Water to conform to City' s Water Plan, requires 8" Mains for Water line ' s through Subdivisions for adequate fire protection (Section 9-14-7 (E) ) Ord. #77-6. 3. A Minimum of 8 inch Sewer pipe shall be specified. (Section 9-14-7 (F) Ord. #77-6 NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Planning E Zoning Commission of the City of Wylie, Texas ; in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan, and in the best interest of the public welfare of the City of Wylie , recommends to the City Council of the City of Wylie , that the final plat of Westwind Meadows Addition be approved with the following conditions : Recommend the water line from connection on S. Birmingham to Stoneybrook Dr. be reduced to 8" then 12" to end of Subdivision; 8" water line on Stoneybrook be continued through to end of Subdivision; use manholes instead of clean- outs at start of Sewer mains on Willow Way, and Stoneybrook Drive ; require concrete alleys of 10 foot width instead of 9 foot width; allow 6" Sewer Main instead of 8" in entire Subdivision. ce4, Z??4!.411) Vice - Chairman Planning & Zoning Commission
