RESOLUTION OF CITY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST
ON COMTEMPLATED ANNEXATION OF LAND BY THE CITY OF SACHSE, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City Planning E Zoning Commission of the City of Wylie
held a public meeting to review the Contemplated Annexation of Land
by the City of Sachse , Texas ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Wylie ,
acknowledges that there will be an apparent encroachment into the
City of Wylie ' s extraterritorial jurisdiction; and,
WHEREAS, a reveiw of the boundry agreements between adjoining cities
indicates there is no agreed boundry for annexations between the City
of Wylie and the City of Sachse.
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Planning $ Zoning
Commission of the City of Wylie , Texas ; in conformance with the
Comprehensive Plan, and in the best interest of the Public Welfare of
the City of Wylie, recommends to the City Council of the City of Wylie ,
that the City Manager and the planning consultants of H.D. $ R. be
authorized to prepare an agreeable boundry plan for future Contemplated
Annexation' s of both cities and prepare an ordinance for the City
Council ' s consideration.
