CALL TO ORDER
Announce the presence of a Quorum.
Mayor pro tern Nathan Scott called the meeting to order at 6:25 p.m. with the following Wylie
City Council members present: Councilwoman Diane Culver, Councilman Keith Stephens,
Councilman Rick White. Councilman Bennie Jones, Councilman Todd Wintters and Mayor
Hogue were absent.
Staff present included: City Manager, Mindy Manson; Assistant City Manager, Jeff Butters;
Finance Director, Linda;Bantz; Library Director, Rachel Orozco; Public Services Director, Mike
Sferra; Police Chief, John'Duscio; Fire Chief, Randy Corbin; City Engineer, Chris Hoisted;
Human Resources Manager, Lynn Fagerstrom, and City Secretary, Carole Ehrlich. Many
support staff were present.
INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Fire Chief Randy Corbin gave the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor pro tern Scott convened into work session at 6:30 p.m.

The following departments gave proposed budget expenditure overviews and answered
questions regarding line items within their FY 2013/2014 budget.
City Council
City Manager
City Secretary (Public Arts)
Finance (Utilities, Municipal Court, Purchasing)
Human Resources
Facilities
Public Works (Water-Wastewater, streets, maintenance)
Parks (Parks and Recreation Center)
Another work session for departmental budget overviews is scheduled for July 18, 2012 at 6:00
p.m. for further overall discussion of the proposed FY 2013/14 budget.
RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION
Take any action as a result from Work Session.
Mayor pro tem Scott reconvened into Regular Session at 8:28 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Councilman Stephens, seconded by Councilwoman Culver to adjourn
the meeting at 8:28 p.m. A vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously.
