CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Bryan Rogers called the meeting to order and a quorum was present. Board
members present with the Chairman were; Vice Chairman Billy McClendon, Board
Member Zachary Herrera, Board Member Sunil Verma, Board Member David Williams,
Board Member Robert Hunter and Board Member Michael Grubbs.
Staff present was Secretary Ashley Vega, Chief Building Inspector Todd White, Building
Official Brian Killebrew and Development Services Director Renae 011ie.
CITIZENS COMMENTS
Chairman Rogers opened the Citizens Participation. With no one approaching the
Commissioners, Chairman Rogers closed the Citizens Participation.
CONSENT ITEMS
1. Consider and act upon approval of the Minutes from the August 15, 2013,
Regular Meeting.
Board Action
A motion was made by Board Member Herrera, and seconded by Board Member
Williams. Motion passed 6-0.

1. Consider, and act upon, an interpretation and clarification from the Sign Ordinance
2009-21, regarding painted artwork on the south side of a building located at 2600 W
FM 544, Lot 10 of Woodbridge Centre Phase 1 Addition.
Staff Presentation
Michael Walters, Real Estate Broker for The Rock Wood Fire Pizza, applicant, is
requesting clarification that a painted artwork on the south side of a building located
at 2600 W FM 544, Lot 10 of Woodbridge Centre Phase I Addition. The applicant is

stating this is artwork, not a sign. The artwork is a personal tie to rock and roll and
does not promote business of the restaurant. The artwork will be located on the back
side of the building.
Board Action
A motion was made by Board Member Herrera, and seconded by Board Member
Verma, to approve the interpretation and clarification. Motion carried 7-0.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Board Member Grubbs, and seconded by Board Member Herrera
to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
