PRE-MEETING WORKSESSION
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor John W. Akin called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following
councilmembers present: Jim Swartz, Ortie Messenger, Bud Naish, and Reta Allen.
10 WORKSESSION DISCUSSION
City Manager Steve Norwood reviewed agenda items with Council members,
explained staff recommendations outlined in the agenda notes for the regular meeting and
answered questions of Council regarding the recommendation for the City's health insurance
15 contract,the ambulance service proposals received,and a recommended change in the Code
of Ordinances regarding mowing. No Council action was taken on the items discussed.
ADJOURNMENT
20 Council adjourned from the Worksession at 6:45 p.m.
