At a meeting of the City Council, called today L y5, 1944,
by the /Ja:yor, 3. Pitts, the following Councilmen were present;
Claude Ho use wright C. R. Hillis
E. Hoiisey/right Claude Allen
R. R. Addington
Amotion was made by Claude Housewright to allow the R. E. A. (Rural
El ecttidioation Association) to bring their power line into the City
limits to furnish power for a proposed. Cold. storage and Locker Plant.
C. R. Hillis seconded the motion, which was carried unantdectu33 y by a
vote of the Aldermen "resent.
The meeting was dismissed.
