03-15-1945 (City Council) Minutes March 15, 1945
A regular of the Council 3/15/1945 was attended by: C. G. Housewright, D. B. Willis, E.
Housewright, RR Addington, CR Hillis, JA Pitts.
A discussion of cover for the(s -illegible)pool was left to the Water Committee to(s d -
illegible).
C. R. Hillis suggested at least $6,000 be spent for the City's Bonds. E Housewright made a
motion that C. R. Hillis's suggestion be acted on as ( -illegible), motion was seconded and voted on, a
committee was appointed, CR Hillis, E Housewright with instructions to buy bonds up to 100% of
value, spending 5 or 6 thousand dollars.
Application for street lights for the citizens anxious for lights was not acted on due to the fact
that T.P.L. cannot make extensions for this purpose.
After a discussion of generalities, no further business was discussed meeting was adjourned.
