At a meeting of the Council attended by CR Hillis, RR Addington, E Housewright, CG
Housewright, DB Willis, new councilmen elected April 3, 1945, they are CG Housewright, CR
Hillis, Nathan Eldridge, and duly sworn in and accepted.
By order of the Mayor the following appointments were made: CR Hillis, Mayor Pro Tem;
Treas. Claude Allen; Water Supt. H. A. Long;Fire Marshal and Chief Glen Daniel; Street Committee
E. Housewright, Nathan Eldridge; Water& Sewerage Committee: CR Hillis, CG Housewright;
Finance Committee: DB Willis, CR Hillis, Health Officer Dr. P. F. Brooks.
Appointments were confirmed by the Council.
After a discussion of matters previously considered the meeting was adjourned.
