02-15-1944 (City Council) Minutes February 15, 1944
The City Council of the City of Wylie met in the City Hall at Wylie Texas on February 15,
1944.
Those present were Mayor J. A. Pitts, Aldermen R. R. Addington, C. R. Hillis, C. G.
Housewright, E. Housewright, and D. B. Willis. The minutes of the last meeting were ready by the
secretary and approved as read.
Motion was made by E. Housewright that an election be ordered by the Mayor on the second
Tuesday in April 1944 to elect mayor, two aldermen, city marshal and city secretary. Motion
seconded by C. R. Hillis; motion carried.
The Mayor ordered an election to be held on the second Tuesday in April, 1944, to elect
Mayor, two aldermen, city marshal and city secretary.
Motion made by E. Housewright that interest due on April 1st, 1944 on City Bonds be paid.
Motion seconded by C. R. Hillis; motion carried.
