08-15-1944 (City Council) Minutes August 15, 1944 At a Regular Meeting of the Council today, attended by all of the members, a discussion of the possibilities of assuming, those citizens interested, of the council's influence with the Gas Co. in getting gas line extensions. Trash disposal discussed but no action taken. Santa Fe Rwy contract for water discussed. Council agreed to loan Mrs. Adgir Russel one of the survey machines in the City's care. A motion was made, seconded, and carried to extend sewerage lines to Tom Bozeman and other connections on his sewer line, at the discretion of the Sewerage Committee. A motion was made second, and approval to appoint an equalization Board for City Taxes. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to have Willie Stibbens, as well as others, to move his and their(illegible)off of City property. J. H. Callaway was instructed to see that the order was enforced. The Tom Bozeman Sewerage discussion was again referred to the Sewerage Committee, with advice to wait for more favorable conditions.
