05-14-1943 (City Council) Minutes May 14, 1943
The City Council of the City of Wylie met on May 14th at the City Hall in Wylie Texas.
The changing of the City money from the State National Bank in Garland to the Central
National Bank in McKinney was brought before the Council by R. R. Addington. Since all members
were not present, the decision on the change was deferred until June 15ti'meeting.
The Mayor authorized the street committee to spend as much money as it saw fit to replace
streets.
A committee of two Claude Housewright and D. B. Willis were appointed to look after the
City swimming pool.
E. Housewright and C. Hillis were appointed to look into the telephone Company's Franchise
Tax.
The City Treasurer reposted $3,838.95 in the General Fund and $356.71 in the Sinking Fund.
