06-15-1943 (City Council) Minutes June 15, 1943 The City Council of the City of Wylie met June 15, 1943 in the City Hall with all members present. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary and on motion made by C. G. Housewright, seconded by D. B. Willis were approved as read. Unfinished business was declared in order by the Mayor. R. R. Addington made motion that the City funds be moved from the State National Bank in Garland, Texas to the Central National Bank in McKinney Texas. Motion was seconded by C. G. Housewright. The motion carried unanimously. It was suggested, however by C. R. Hillis that funds be left in the present bank until the City Books are audited. It was decided that the entire books of the City officials should be audited. Mr. H. McCallon was selected to audit the books. The City Treasurer reported $3827.16 in the General fund and $356.71 in the Sinking fund. Capt J. A. Benton donated $10.00 to the Street Committee in appreciation for repair work being done.
