12-15-1943 (City Council) Minutes December 15, 1943
The City Council of the City of Wylie met on December 15, 1943 at the City Hall in Wylie
Texas.
Those present were Mayor J. A. Pitts, Councilmen R. R. Addington, C. R. Hillis, E
Housewright and DB. Willis.
The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary.
Motion made by E. Housewright that minutes be approved as read. Motion seconded by D.
B. Willis, Motion carried.
Motion made by E. Housewright that permission be given the Boy Scouts to use swimming
pool grounds &building in exchange for their up-keep of grounds. Said permission to be granted
until further notice from the Council. Motion seconded by C. R. Hillis; Motion carried.
Motion made be E. Housewright that extensions of the sewer line of the City of Wylie made
at the expence of the city will not exceed city block to a connection and any further extension
necessary for a connection to be made at the expense of the customer or customers. Motion
seconded by C. R. Hillis; motion carried.
