03-25-1922 (City Council) Minutes Special meeting of council held 3/25/22
With the following members absent WF Duncan HP Howery
Moved Seconded that Howery Lb Hammet Co & WF Duncan be notified to build some
sidewalks by their property on Oak Street. Motion carried
Also to notify cotton belt to fix their crossings North of the Stalian. Mr Wilcox and the council
came to the agreement to move the telephone poles into the sidewalk to get out of the gutter
Mr. Wilcox gives the city one note for 200\00 due June 15 and one note for 200\00 due on or
before Jan 1st 1923. And the city waives their right to have the Telephone Co move the poles off
the Street The note due Jan 1st to to draw Interest.

Regular meeting of council held April 5/22. With the following members absent HP Howery CJ
Marrs & CL Hillis.. A contract was read by Mr Duncan to be presented to Mr Wilcox in regard
to the movement of the Telephone poles

Moved & Seconded that a committee be appointed to go to Plano and Present to Mr. Wilcox the
contract drawn up according to former agreement for him to sign. Committee appointed JR
Brennon WF Duncan WH Bingham. The following Bills were allowed

246\00 Special meeting called for next Tuesday night to Install new officers & to make final
disposition of the Telephone question
The Mayor was authorized to enter into contract with GI Wilcox to conform to said agreement
