03-02-1910 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Texas 3/2/10
The Town Counsil of the Town of Wylie met in regular seccion at City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Baskett. The following member being
present. Clem J. Gallagher, J. A. Hammett, L. L. Gant, G. C. Walters, J. A.
Wilson.
Minutes of previous meeting read & adopted.
Mayor Baskett was instructed to order an election for the purpose of election 1
Mayor, 3 aldermen and City Attorney.
The City Attorney was instructed to draft an ordinance prohibiting fruit venders
selling on corners of Oak&Ballard Ave. &Marble& and submit same at
our next meeting.
On motion & seconded, Mayor Baskett was instructed to employ man to census of
our town.
On motion & seconded that the town donate $50.00 towards building gravel road.
The motion carried.
