07-05-1911 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Tex 7/5/11
The Town Council of The Town of Wylie met in regular seccion at City Hall.
After the roll call of officers the minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Next the report of Watter Committee. Namely L. L. Gant&Marvin McDonald. They had
made an agreement with the Wylie Deep Well Co to furnish public such water at the rate
of One Dollar per Day. On motion& second L. L. Gant was authorized to make water
trough according specifications & dementions he thought best.
Next was the reading of report of Clem J. Gallagher as Treasure&H. P. Howery as
Marshal both being accepted by council.
The following acct were allowed
J. B. Baskett, printing 11.50
Insurance 18.75
H. P. Howery, salary 25.00
4% of tax coll $177 7.08
G. W. Owens & Co. 25.94
J. M Brown .75
W. T. McDonald .55
No other business The meeting closed to meet in reg seccion in August 1911.
