04-03-1912 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Tex 4/3/12
The Town Council of the Town of Wylie met in regular seccion at First Natl. Bank.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Baskett and the minutes of previous meeting
were read and approved.
The clerk was instructed to issue notices to the following parties to appear before the next
regular meeting and give cause if any why they should not repair walk along property
belonging to them in Wylie, Tex. Geo W. Housewright, J. W. McCullough. By mutual
agreement, L. L. Gant agreed to repair his walk and the city was to put in crossing.
The City Marshal was instructed to repair walk along the Wilkerson property and chrg
cost of same with taxes. Also instructed to repair Mrs. Scott wald running east on same
st.
Report of Clem J. Gallagher as Treasurer and J. B. Baskett as Mayor were read and
refered to Finance Committtee.
Resignation of Clem J. Gallagher as alderman was read and accepted as requested.
