04-10-1912 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Tex 4/10/12
The Town Council of the Town of Wylie met in call seccion at First State Bank.
After roll call of officers the minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
After careful examination of the Tally list of election held on April 2"a- Mayor Baskett
proclaimed the following officers duly elected.
Clem J. Gallagher, Mayor
J. A. Hammett, Alderman
J. I. Blalock, Alderman
L. A. Powell, Alderman
W. F. Duncan, City Attorney
The oath of officers was sworn to by the offices as above named.
Mayor Gallagher appointed J. A. Hammett as Treasurer, L. A. Powell, J. I. Blalock& J.
A. Hammett were appointed as St Committee. Marion McDonald- Mayor Protem, Marion
McDonald, Finance Committee
Report of H. P. Howery as Marshal was read and received.
Mayor Gallagher instructed Marshall Howery to have Ed Davis return the lumber that
was taken away from the Christian Church to the City Hall.
With no other business the meeting closed to meet in reg seccion.
