08-02-1912 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Texas Aug 2"a 1912 The Town Council of the Town of Wylie met in regular seccion at First State Bank. After roll call of officers the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The clerk was instructed to notify Marshal Howery to see the closet be repaired, that is have screws or flap door of some kind put on to keep paper from scattering over town. The clerk was instructed to notify Fire Marshal Mr. Palmer to make a general inspection of The Town especially Mr. A. B.Andrew place of business and Eugene Usury residence. The clerk was instructed to write Mr. W. E. Maxim, Gen. Supt. Santa Fe in regard to putting in 5 ft. Concret Walk from Depot to North line of right of way. The clerk was instructed to write Mr. H. D. Earl Gen. Supt Cotton Belt in regard to putting in crossing on Elliott St. By mutual agreement the board as far as they were concerned granted Mr. Shaw permission to use his well outfit on Sunday.
