10-02-1913 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Tex 10/2/13
The Town Council of the town of Wylie met at a A. L.Powell& Sons Store.
After the roll call of officers the minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Move& seckend that the Mayor appoint Equalization Board,provided that Finance
Committee reported that they thought one needed.
Mr. Dishers request in faver McAdams Lumber Co in regard to closing alley just east of
lumber office was left with property owners and in hand of St. Committee.

Wylie, Texas.
Gentlemen:
Whereas, there is a large amount of gasoline stored in the house situated on the lot
belonging to Mrs. Brown known as lot 6 in Block 2 Wylie, Texas, and whereas, said
gasoline is liable to explode thus endangering the lives and property of the adjoining
citizens respectfully ask you to cause the owner to remove said gasoline at once.
