06-07-1916 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Texas 6/7/1916
The Town Council of the Town of Wylie met in regular seccion at City Hall. The
meeting was called to order by Mayor Daniel. After the roll call of officers the minutes of
previous meeting were read and approved.
Motion & sec that Marshal Haoery be instructed to have water tower on Mr. A. W.
Discher lot removed.
Motion & sec that Marshal Howery notify Dr. G. P. Maynard to fix brick wall damaged
by fire or take said wall down.
Motion & sec that clerk notify P. J. Dempsey to appear before council at next reg meeting
and give cause if any why he should not repair walk on east side of A. H. Burns property
on Ballard Ave.
Motion & sec that Mayor Daniel appoint Equalization Board. Those appointed were J. T.
Groves, I. F. Brooks, Chas. Morris. Said board to meet on the 21st day of June, 1916.
Motion & sec that the ditch at Riley corner be refered to St. Committee.
Motion & sec that the Marshal open ditch from Santa Fe south to ditch going through Dr.
Butler property on Ballard Ave. Also open ditch from Loyd Neilon corner east on the
north side of Jefferson St.
