11-08-1916 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Tex Nov 8th 1916
The Town Council of the Town of Wylie met in regular seccion at Wylie Lumb. Co.'s
office. After roll call of officers the minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.
Next to come before the council, Loyd Neilon tendered his resignation as Clerk.
On motion & sec, Geo S. Houston was appointed Clerk to fill unexpired term of Loyd
Neilon. Loyd Neilon's resignation to take affect as soon as Mr. Houston was qualified.
Motion & sec that council extend vote of thanks to Mr. Neilon for attentiveness & service
while clerk.

On motion & sec, Chas Marrs & S. M McDaniel was allowed old lumber to put in
crossing provided they pay for work.
